i have actually used picnik a decent amount, mostly for when i need a quick web graphic with some simple text for someone’s myspace or something, and i have a photo on flickr that i want to use.

I use picnik all the time. I have an extension on my firefox for it and I pay for the premium account. I love it so much I gave away a year’s membership on my blog.

  3. John Watson says:

    That’s interesting. I didn’t know they sold gift memberships… $24.95 for a year.

  4. Harley Pebley says:

I voted Never but actually I lied. I used picnik and picasa both once. Each time I asked myself why? I found them slow and missing features I use all the time. I have the same reaction to online office suites (e.g. Google Docs) they’re cool for collaboration on small docs, but I’d never use them for anything extensive. There’s still a significant difference between online and off-line applications.

  5. Brian Auer says:

I’ve tried a few of them out just from curiosity, but I’ve never had the real need to use one. They could be handy if you’re traveling and you don’t have access to any other software though.

  6. Will Foster says:

I have tried them once or twice, but I prefer the Lightroom and Photoshop combination I have going on.
