Every time I do use it, it never lets me down; the focus is sharp, the shake is minimal if you can find a good way to balance it (besides tripod). This lens is amazing for taking shots where you need a small depth of field (ex: http://365.alifespentwondering.com/photos/10/). I thought it'd be flimsy and delicate (especially when it's at 300mm), but so far there haven't been any problems and I'd definitely recommend it as an affordable accessory! I’ve had this lens for a few months now and probably haven’t used it as much as I should’ve at this point.
